Formulation and Execution of Volkswagen Group India Corporate Strategy (STRATEGY 2030)

I spearheaded the formulation and implementation of STRATEGY 2030, which was developed to drive growth and operational excellence across multiple brands, including Volkswagen, Skoda, Audi, Porsche, and Lamborghini in India.

Phases:
Input:
Conducted Focused Group Discussions with over 300 employees, and performed
SWOT and VUCA analyses.
Define:
Led workshops with the Board of Directors, Brand Directors, and Headquarters for
strategic alignment.
Rollout:
Organized a Townhall to introduce the Corporate Strategy and branding campaigns
across all locations.
Implementation:
Defined and executed 9 strategic initiatives, setting clear KPIs and KRIs. Assigned
ownership to Board Members, with regular reviews via Operational and Management
Committees.

The project involved:
9x Strategic Initiatives: Defined vision & mission for the organization and implemented
9 core initiatives that aligned with the company’s future goals.

Vision 2025 and 2030:
Developed a detailed, step-by-step roadmap for achieving key milestones by 2025 and
2030.

KPIs & KRIs:
Established key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs) to measure
and manage performance effectively.

Board-Level Ownership:
Assigned strategic initiatives to Board Members, ensuring top-down ownership and
accountability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Defined champions for each initiative and established cross-functional teams (CFTs) to
drive execution.

Regular Oversight:
Managed the operational committee on a fortnightly basis and the management
committee every two months, ensuring smooth progress and alignment with the
company's strategic objectives.

This project laid the foundation for Volkswagen Group India’s sustainable growth, helping the organization navigate the competitive landscape while achieving measurable success in key business areas.
